Course Description

Gain the skills to recognize emergencies, give high-quality CPR, use an AED, and provide first aid for choking, bleeding, shock, burns, and more. Training includes adult coverage (with optional child/infant modules), hands-on practice, and scenario-based coaching that builds calm, repeatable response. Choose blended learning (online + in-person skills) or fully in-person sessions. Group classes are available for workplaces, clinics, CBRFs, schools, and churches. What You’ll Learn • Scene assessment and personal safety • Calling 911 and coordinating help • Adult CPR with rescue breaths or AED-only response • Optional child/infant CPR add-ons • AED use: power on, pads, analyze, clear for shock, resume compressions • Choking relief for adults (and child/infant when added) • First aid priorities: severe bleeding, shock care, burns, sprains/fractures, heat/cold illness, diabetic emergencies, seizures • Infection control and barrier devices • Documentation basics and clear handoffs Training Format • Blended learning (online module + instructor-led skills) or fully in-person • Small classes, practical feedback, and scenario drills to build confidence Certification Upon successful completion, participants earn a digital American Red Cross certificate (valid 2 years)—ideal for workplace compliance and community readiness. Certificates are issued the same day and can be verified online.
