Course Description

Trinity ProRescue delivers the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course for healthcare providers. Build confident, high-quality CPR skills and coordinated team response to improve outcomes when seconds matter. What You’ll Learn • Adult/child/infant CPR: compression rate 100–120/min, full recoil, minimal pauses • 1- and 2-rescuer CPR with role switching every 2 minutes • AED use: power on, pad placement, analysis, clear for shock, resume compressions • Bag-mask ventilation (solo and two-rescuer), airway opening, oxygen basics • Choking relief for adult/child/infant • Team dynamics: closed-loop communication, role clarity, high-performance CPR • Opioid-associated emergency awareness and naloxone overview (per AHA scope) • Infection control and scene safety in clinical settings Training Format • Blended learning (online module + instructor-led skills) or fully in-person session • Small classes with coaching, skills check-offs, and a brief knowledge assessment • Realistic scenarios to build speed, accuracy, and calm under pressure Certification Upon successful completion, participants receive an AHA BLS Provider eCard (valid 2 years)—the standard for hospitals, clinics, and clinical training programs. eCards are issued the same day and can be verified online.
